So, we have started the non-profit. We really had no idea how much went into getting something like this off the ground but so far we have...

Completed our Bylaws.

At this time, lets acknowledge the people that have agreed to be board members on our non-profit. This journey would be impossible without their support.

Submitted for and received our EIN (the number the non-profit uses instead of a SSN)

Submitted our charter request to the state of Tennessee and waiting for our reply back, this should be a easy one.

Submitted our 1023-EZ form (IRS form used to allow us to be recognized as a non-profit and make everyone's donation tax deductible) This will take longer, we have heard the turn around time on this one is about 3 months

Work on the website is underway (well this will of course be an ongoing project requiring updates as we go)

There is still a ton of stuff to do until we can give out our first basket, but we shooting for our first basket to be delivered hopefully in December if not earlier.
